Hi, Right now spawning some AI cars increases the CPU usage and the more you spawn AI cars (Options > Gameplay > Traffic) the more the CPU usage, and there might also be more GPU and Memory Usage, which eventually decreases the FPS. also needs one core, so it is number of cores -1 car actually, but depending from cars and intensity of graphics + collision on specific map you might get more. I have ran BeamNG at the same time as I was folding and never peaked 40°C. yes dynamic reflection is a performance hog. 3800X is more than capable of running "few" cars, if by few you mean 10 cars then I would understand but your PC is perfectly fine.
